Amarone Case Vecie DOCG 2012
Amarone Case Vecie borrows its name from the homonymous 10 ha-vineyard located in Grezzana - Valpantena. It is a unique vineyard, 450 meters above sea level with a perfect south/easterly exposition. These particular pedoclimatic conditions allow the grapes to undergo a slow and constant ripening, even during the hardest years. The adopted training system is the Guyot, which allows a perfect exposition of the bunches and an optimal vegetative-productive balance. The late harvesting period enables us to put the grapes to rest in a colder
period of the year, undergoing a slower and longer drying process. In this phase, the grapes will develop the distinctive aromas that will then characterize the wine. Amarone Case Vecie is a wine designed to enhance the natural traits of a cold climate vineyard, which remain unaltered thanks to the low temperature-drying process that preserves them.
